What is Bursitis?
Bursitis is an inflammation of a small fluid-filled sac, called a bursa, located near a joint, bone or tendon.
The bursa, which protects the area from friction, can become inflamed from repetitive motion or irritation.
For example in the foot there are very common from rubbing on various shoes.

Symptoms of bursitis include :

Sometimes there is a palpable lump where the bursa is distending the area

localised tenderness

swelling and pain.
